I was warned about the Reeperbahn, with some quite sincere concern about my feminine sensibilities… but alas it hasn’t got a patch on Sydney’s King’s Cross on an average Friday night!
It’s definitely seedy, defiantly full of neon sex shop adverts and hookers, but I felt safe, more like an early evening in Pucket with a tour guide than something to actually make me nervous.
So I did leave will all sensibilities in tact, drunk on cheep shots, but didn’t even get a flash oh unintended knickers… they could learn a think or two from their friends… ahem… Down Under!
That said there were some clubs that were a great laugh, plenty of people about willing to let their hair down, and generally a party vibe… less shock and more party.
