The Hansom Cab in London

I rarely find myself in this area without a destination in mind, and in the past it’s been all about activities nearby, facials, nail salons, and more recently… indoor golf.

So as we wandered the streets post game we were all at a bit of a loss for where to have a drink and a bite, until we stumbled upon the Hansom Cab.

Quite a cute little pub, with nooks and crannies about, friendly staff and what looked to be pretty good food (my friends were eating their dinners like little orphaned children!).

Red Lion & Sun in London

LondonEating & DrinkingPubs & BarsPubs

I haven’t eaten here yet, but I have sat curled into one of the garden nooks enjoying the atmosphere and drinking up as I awaited my first meat wagon experience. Locals here are fab (not I’m not back handing myself a compliment as a local- I am saying objectively they are more than your average punters).

Great layout, very slow bar staff, but if you are popping in for a pint off the beaten track in Highgate Village then you really ought to slow it down a bit.

White Hart, London

This lovely old dear is rammed tight with local business types (and with the young and upcoming in the area this means side fringe over eye rather than suit.
A great little boozer with an epic crack running the length of the building from all the local construction- go now… lest it slant into the road and start to shade that lovely outdoor area!
