Quintessentially Soho, House of St Barnabas in London

A charitable member’s club? Come again?

But yes it’s true, the House of St. Barnabas got clever and now has a very swanky and central venue, with the biggest private garden in central London (with great big trees and lounge chairs) all a bit rambly and cottage gone to seed style.

They have a great dining area, private rooms and I have to say a very cool space for hire in the chapel area. A working chapel meaning that the alter is kept roped off, but there are lounge cushions and the most beautiful sound in the stone carvings.

Add to that a tastefully decorated interior (all donations, but the kind of donation I couldn’t afford to buy) and I would actually consider investing in this reasonably priced central location.
