Recipease in Battersea

This is a great concept store from a great ethos. The basic gist is learn to cook, but this isn’t your average cooking school, in fact there’s nothing average about it.
They have cleverly created a DIY centre, from ingredients, to specialised cooking tools, to lessons, you can walk in a novice and leave with what is essentially Jamie’s kitchen.

Originally that was the extent of Recipease’s offerings, however they have no included a great menu and employed some pretty flash barisitas, so you can sit around and watch the action happen in the central kitchen station. The breakfast menu was perfect- home style rustic favorites, made with chunky offerings of hand cut ham and crumbling cheese… decadent beauty if your asking!

Their classes are hugely popular (check out knife skills) so you will need to book in advance. Expect to have a laugh, be engaged and have a sit down meal, all for a reasonable cost (ps they do date nights too- think blind date makes you dinner under supervised circumstances!).

Eggs and salmon

One visit alone has me addicted to the chilli jam, and the bread board rustic style, I’ll be back again very soon.
