Edinburgh – Arts & Entertainment – Festivals & Fairs
I go to this festival every year, and have been on all sides. I’ve been a first time visitor, sampling anything and everything on offer, a veteran visitor- who knows to book in advance and how to sneak past the epic queues for a midnight screening, a local who’s city is invaded by the “nanageddon” on their way to watch the Tattoo, and the dreaded worker bee- manning temporary venues for the drunken comedy infused masses.
It is something never to be missed, and each year it brings more surprising shows, exciting venues and quirky spots (don’t miss the maze with the two storey corona or anything in the udderbelly!)
