La Tasca, London

I felt really split about the meal I ate here. Some points were great, others not so and I left unsure of weather or not I would ever want to return.
Tucked in amongst the string of restaurants that line James street it seemed the least pushy… but we found that to interpreted into not available. The staff were sweet, but clueless. They were a bit all over the place and it was hard to get their attention. Seeing as there were quite a few of them covering the 10 or so tables it was a bit silly.
The food itself was pretty good. Loads of oil, which was a bit of a disappointment, however they do have some great mushrooms and fresh prawns.
Visit with some extra time and maybe get into some sangria to mellow out.
