Centennial Park

SydneyArts & EntertainmentParks

This is such a popular park that it is a good thing it is massive! Stretching from Oxford Street to Randwick it offers an amazing bike trail around the skirts of the East of the city, with some great views of the AMP Tower and city centre from the peaked hill near the road to Coogee.
I have seen pretty much everything happen here, rugby, cricket (the garden rules variety) frisbee, yoga mums (classes with prams) and a very persistent boomerang thrower. Really.
The best bit? Unlike so many European parks there are no walls so you can sleep here if you choose (I prefer night frisbee…)
