Restaurante Mango, Barcelona

A great beach spot, and busy as all get out, so if you didn’t have a Spanish mate at hand to tell you, you would still catch on that this place is really good!
It’s reasonably priced, after Sangria jugs, bottled water, starters and mains (including paella worth fighting for) we paid €20 each.
So back to the paella… creamy, fresh, laden with seafood. They started from scratch (the proper way) so in the time it took to create it, we enjoyed Calamares Romana (amazing calamari) and Chipirones Andaaluza (which is potato covered in the best spicy cream sauce).
All this with an ocean view and very few tourists. Sold!
