Waxy O’Connors in Glasgow

GlasgowEating & DrinkingPubs & BarsPubs

Waxy’s gave me the distinct impression that I had stumbled into a church designed by M.C. Escher. I truly believe they rely on the weird small stair cases and multiple levels with peep views to make sure you can’t leave once you have a pint. It’s just too damn confusing.
After a drink or two, having given into the fact that I may be able to leave again, I realised I’d like to know why there is a giant wood piped organ set into the wall. Or how much time it took to carve out all those details into all the hanging eaves? All in all, well worth the visit. Being right next to the train station was a blessing, but keep in mind the Hotel California layout!
